IMPHAL, Feb 27: Unidentified persons lobbed a hand grenade at the Mayang Imphal Taning Makha Leikai residence of Mayang Langjing Gram Panchayat pradhan, namely Khangembam Sanaton Singh, 42, son of Amumacha. The incident occurred at around 7 pm today and comes under Lamshang police station jurisdiction. The Chinese make grenade was lobbed up the roof of the pradhan’s residence and later rolled down, exploding at the drain. There were no casualties from the blast. Lamshang OC , Inspector Sharat came to the spot and inspected the incident. A case has been registered in the regard.
