IMPHAL, Feb 23: The International Association of Lions Club district 322-D leaders have today visited the site of the February 2 fire at Litan, Ukhrul district and provided help to the victims.
According to a statement of the Region 12 chairperson Dr Chongtham Renubala Devi (MJF), the leaders of the clubs visited the relief camp opened for the victims and provided 10 bags of rice, tea leaves and one bag each of dal, edible oil, onion, potatoes, sugar, salt.
Condoling the death of the girl in the inferno, the team had also provided Rs 5000 to the family of the girl and another Rs 8000 to the other victims.
