<![CDATA[IMPHAL, February 15: Hectic preparations are goitg on for the 29th TKS General Conference cum Sports Meet scheduled to be held from 24th to 30th April 2014 at Chingjaroi CV under Chingai Sub-Division of Ukhrul District.
Conveying it in press release, the conference will deliberate ot various subjects that relate to education and socio-economic development. Cultural exchange programme with indigenous neighbouring Naga tribes, beauty contest, fashion parade and talent display are other important features of the meet besides cultural, literary and sports competitions for the exposure of talented youngsters to the outside world and enhancing their potentials.
Registration forms for beauty contest and solo competitions will be available at TKS head office from
March 1, 2014 onwards. Sub-zonal bodies cat also be participated in the meet with the permission of their respective zonal bodies.
Meanwhile, on the sideline of the TKS conference cum sports meet, the local arrangement committee, for the first time, has taket up various initiatives to shape Chingjaroi at eeo-friendly model village. While seeking support and cooperation of TKS Ex-Presidents, zonal bodies, special zone and second house, TKS office bearers and organizing committee itvite positive suggestions to make the event a grand success. TKS is also taking up inauguration programme of its new administrative office building on 7th March 2014. All TKS Ex-Presidents, DLOs, head of educational itstitutions, CSOs and NGOs are itvited to be present at the said occasion, it said.
