IMPHAL, March 15: A team of the Joint Students’ Coordinating Committee (JSCC) today visited various exam centres of the ongoing CBSE examination such as North Point Higher Secondary School, Little Rose Higher Secondary School and Central Academy Mantripukhi for inspection.
This was stated by JSCC co-convenor M Angamba Meitei representing Students Union of Kangleipak (SUK) during a press meet convened today at its office.
Angamba said the inspection was conducted after reports of question leak of the Biology paper came out.
He said that they caught a student at Little Rose Higher Secondary School who had a photocopied text of the answers which was almost identical to the CBSE question from 1 to 18 of set number 3 and further continued that they had found students throwing the copy through the widow on getting to know of the JSCC’s visit.
He said the Physics paper was also leaked.
CBSE question papers are kept in the bank or post office, he expressed.
Angamba also suggested to keep the question papers at the nearest police station and added that the question papers should be monitored by a police officer not below the rank of Superintendent of police.
