CCpur witness low turnout of voters

LAMKA, April 9: Voting for the Outer Manipur Parliamentary Constituency in Churachandpur witnessed a low turnout in the morning and till 1pm recorded less than only 30 percent of voter turnout.

However, some polling stations had recorded a high voter turnout by 10am.

Polling stations at Tuibuang SW 2 and 59/41 witnessed above 70 percent turn out by noon.

It was an enigma to predict the leading candidate in ccpur.

An interesting fact is that polling agents were absent at most booths.

No major incident was reported in the town area except the place at L Ideal School located at Tuibuang area where many voters had complain of malpractice as they are not allowed to vote, later the SP of CCpur declare it sensitive and extra police guard were deployed in full gear leaded by the OC of CCpur.

At 59/40 Tuibuang SW 2 this reporters found and show only two party agent in the boot namely NCP and INC.
