IMPHAL, April 14: The Kangleipak Communist Party president Laba Meitei has wished the people of Manipur on the outfit’s 34th anniversary on April 14.
A statement signed by the president said that the outfit was established on April 14, 1980 against imperialism and bureaucratic capitalism and to regain the land’s lost sovereignty.
It said the president on behalf of the outfit has wished all the cadres and leaders of the outfit, outfits of the CorCom and others on the coming of the outfit’s raising day.
Since the formation of CorCom on July 8, 2011 changing the strategy of the movement, the KCP had been an integral part of the CorCom and has firm believe in the leadership of CorCom, the statement said.
Now that the CorCom is about two and a half years old, it has accumulated certain characteristics defining a united front, it said and added that it is time to conjure the needed features and form a united front.
It also elaborated that there is a need to formed a united front of the Western South East Asia.
