Seminar on exploring new avenue for young student held by KSO

IMPHAL, April 11: The Kuki Students Organisation, Imphal organised a seminar cum career guidance programme on the theme ‘Exploring new avenues’ for young students to help plan their careers after graduation at the Classic Hotel on Friday.

KSO Imphal’s general secretary Thangminlien Shingsit said that the seminar is organised under the aegis of KSO high command. In the seminar cum career guidance interactive session, various eminent persons of the state holding high profile posts after clearing the UPSC, MPSC and other competitive examinations gave their expert opinions.

“Our young students will be guided through this interaction by these persons who are high achievers in their own rights and have rewarding careers. Many students don’t have any idea of entering and facing such examinations and what to choose as their aims of life from various fields of education.”

The seminar might give a fillip to the students in their careers who will help develop the society for a better future by having successful careers in their chosen fields, he added.

About, 130-140 students from Imphal area were present in the seminar.

He said that registrar general of Manipur High Court Songboi Serto, MPS officer Lalboi Haokip, Dr Vumkhoneh Haokip, MBBS (RIMS) and MD (AIIM) were present as resource persons in the function and followed by an interaction with students.
