BISHNUPUR, May 13: The North East Dialogue Forum, Samaritan Resource Centre Manipur, New Life Foundation Moirang and the SAC Borayangbi jointly organised a one day public campaign cum awareness campaign on climate change at Sagang, Ccpur district today.
Lalkhomang Serto president Kom Rem Union, Babycha Mangsatabam project manager, CSD Imphal, Sophapati Samom, correspondent Assam Tribune attended the campaign as presidium members and resource persons.
The program was also attended by village chiefs, pastors of the surrounding villages and others.
Addressing the program, NLF secretary L Pishak said the program aims to spread awareness among the people on the issue of climat change, its impact and adaptation.
It also aspires to create awareness on the duties of the community towards the preservation and promotion of environment, he said.
