IMPHAL, May 27: Unidentified persons placed a live lethode bomb shell at the Palace Compound residential gate of special contractor Raj Mohon around 5.30 pm today.
Sources said, the bomb was found wrapped in a plastic bag by family members, who informed the police.
Soon a police team and the state bomb expert team arrived and safely retrived the explosive around 7.30 pm.
