Don’t pressurise yourselves too much, third ranker tells students

IMPHAL, May 15: Another student of Nirmalabas School, Luhiya Ngangbam clinched the third position of the HSLC Examination. She scored 469 marks out of 500.

She is the only daughter of Nganbam Kamal Kumar, an assistant AO with the State Agriculture department and N (o) Bilashini Devi, a graduate teacher of Thangmeiband Kabrabam Leikai.

Luhiya wants to pursue her further studies in the state.

During a brief chat with the IFP, soon after the results were out this evening at her residence, the topper said the credit goes to her school teachers, parents and colleagues.

Expressing satisfaction with the results, she said she was expecting to be among the toppers.

She said she wants to become a civil servant and that she studied for about an hour during the initial stage, although regularly.

Her message to the other students appearing in this year’s exam is to study regularly for just about an hour everyday and not to give oneself much pressure regarding the exam.
