IMPHAL, June 24: The Thadou Students’ Association has condemned Chaoba Lukho, CO 7th IRB for its negligence towards the injuries caused by its vehicle on June 16 at 11.30 am on the way between Khonghampat and Koirenggei.
The incident occurred when Chaoba Lukho’s vehicle collided against an Alto car bearing registration no ML05F-2825 which resulted in the injuries of 6 occupants of the vehicle who were family members of S.
Lunkhojang alias Hejang Haokip of K. Salbung Village, Churachandpur.
However, the victims of the accident were rushed to the Raj Medicity at North AOC by TSA volunteers and Nehthang Haokip, Pastor of the EIMI Christian Fellowship Church.
Till now there has been no contact from the concerned CO despite an FIR registered at Sekmai Police Station. In this regard, a 24 hours State wide bandh will be imposed, especially in Dimapur to Moreh National Highway and Churachandpur to Imphal State Highway with effect from 3 am of June 28 if the concerned authority does not intervene and bring solution regarding the matter stated a release from the Assistant Information and Publicity, TSA-GHQ.
