IMPHAL, July 24: The JAC formed by the Tidim Road Bus Owner’s Association has decided to call off its steering down agitation which began on July 20 after concerned authorities assured to fulfill their demands within July 31 today.
This was informed to media persons by JAC member P John today at around 1.30 pm after concerned authorities gave the assurance of fulfilling their demands which is to transfer Dena and to check unauthorised permit holders.
He further said that if the assurance provided by concerned authorities is not acted upon before the deadline, the agitation will resume.
Appealing to the public to forgive them for causing difficulties due to the steering down agitation, he lauded people for the support they have rendered.
