IMPHAL, Aug 11: The Chief Minister of Manipur, O. Ibobi Singh extended his condolence towards at sad demise of Maibam Kunjo Singh, former Minister and sitting MLA who represented Hiyangam Assembly Constituency.
According to a release of the Chief Minister, Maibam Kunjo was a man of great political vision who worked for the upliftment of the poor and betterment of the society.
He conveyed condolences and sympathies on behalf of the government and people of the state to the members of the bereaved family and pray to the Almighty to give them the strength to withstand the loss.
In another message, the Speaker of Manipur Legislative Assembly, Th Lokeshore Singh also condoled the untimely death of the MLA, Maibam Kunjo Singh.
According to a release of the Speaker, Maibam Kunjo Singh was the MLA of Hiyanglam Kendra who was also a great leader.
His death will be a big loss not only for Hiyanglam A/C but Manipur as well, the release said.
The Speaker also shared the grief and sorrow of the bereaved family and prayed for his sole for his heavenly abode.
