IMPHAL, Aug 6: The UNLF chairman RK Meghen alias Sanayaima and his associates in NIA’s custody were produced for the second day in succession, today in front of the NIA special court, Guwahati.
However, proceeding of the case was deferred to next month following the failure of the prosecution witness, forensic expert (digital) to appear before the court today.
It may be mentioned that two prosecution witnesses were heard by the court besides being cross examined by both the counsels yesterday.
Altogether 55 prosecution witnesses were cross examined in connection with the charge sheet framed against the UNLF chief and his associates.
