BISHNUPUR, Sept 30: Construction work for the long neglected dilapidated road that passes from Sendra foothill to Thanga Thamangkhong market was started from today.
The construction of the road was started with funds provided by Thanga Kendra MLA, T. Mangibabu, Thanga ZP member, M. Dinesh, Thanga Part II Pradhan, Kh. Binarani, Part I Pradhan, H. Tharongou, GP Members and United Clubs of Thanga members. The estimated contribution by the local was about 1 lac rupees and will finish the work by tomorrow.
MLA, Mangibabu during his inspection has stated that the road was not repaired due to lack of funds from the government`™s side. He had organised a meeting regarding the condition of the road and started the construction. He further added that the road will be constructed fully with the coming of the PMGSY 10th phase sanction.
