THOUBAL, September 27: The Jan Shikshan Sansthan kicked off the month-long Swachh Bharat campaign at its office during a simple function at Wangjing, Thoubal from today onward.
In connection with the campaign the chairman of JSS flagged off vehicles which will tour around the project areas under the JSS.
The JSS Wangjing is working under the School Education and Literacy department of the India Government, Ministry of Human Resource Development.
Director, L Jelshyam Singh said that the awareness of the campaign will be programmed at project areas namely Yairipok, Chanragpat, Khangabok and Kakching.
The function held today was also attended by PHED Thoubal, AE, Lokendro, retired assistant registrar of Cooperative Society, Imphal, Kh Maniton and WEGAS, Wangjing, Senior Project Officer, H.Bihari.
A lecture on cleanliness was also given by PHED, AE, Lokendro to the JSS staffs and trainees and health group member.
