National sanitation campaign launched in State

IMPHAL, September 26: The Imphal West Police today launched the National Sanitation campaign at Kheairamband Bazaar organised by district Police Imphal West.

Speaking to the media City OC Sudhir Kumar said that the sanitation campaign was held under the instruction of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in connection with Gandhi Jayenti.

He also said that it will be a month long sanitation campaign starting from today till 23 October.

He further said that the key success of this campaign is to make it a people sanitation movement.

And he added that with the implementation of the programme, the mindset of the people will change for a better future and also to make ware of the work culture among all the society.

Sudhir Kumar said that the campaign was started under the leadership of SP Imphal West AK Dhanabir.

The drive was conducted in the areas of Kangla mode from North to South gate.

Many other various high officials department were also held during the campaign.
