LAMKA, October 26: The State BJP has appointed Jamliankhup Haokip as the Churachandpur District Bharatiya Janata Party, by the party`™s State president, Th.Chauba here today.
The appointment was made officially at the Party Office located at Tuibung Village in the presence of the party`™s district executives like Pauliankhup Guite, party`™s Mahila president, Tingkhoneih, youth president George Neihsial and others.
The function was also attended by the State executive member Chungkhosei Haokip.
Speaking on the occasion the newly appointed J.Haokip said he felt honoured. `I will not be able to work alone so you all are a part of me and I want to say that your cooperation will only make me functional and active.`
It may be recall that the district of Churachandpur had been without a fulltime president, and has been in charge of only a working president so far. Now we have a president, a manila president as well as a youth president apart from different block president, he said.
