IMPHAL, Oct 28: The road widening (double lane) work between Noney bazaar to Noney common ground which was taken up on October 20 have been completed today.
Marking the completion, village leaders of Noney organised a simple traditional function today.
It may be mentioned that several NGOs and private companies of Tamenglong district had started construction work under the initiative taken by Longmai Village Authority, Longmai village Thoubei (court), Longmai Students’ Union and Church leaders of Noney area.
Heavy machinaries including excavators, tipper trucks were provided by various private firms like the E.C.I company, NIPL company, Nidhi enterprises, KMC Gaidingam Oil pump, Wadi farm, 83 RCC(BRTF).
