IMPHAL, Oct 11: The District Information Officer, Thoubal has said that the 2nd and final round training/rehearsal for all polling personnel of the 34 polling stations of 38-Hiyanglam Assembly By-election was held on October 11 at the Counting Hall of the DC Office, Thoubal.
According to a release of the DIO, the deputy commissioner and DEO, Thoubal Ksh.Lemba Singh and Kakching SDO and RO, Th. Charanjit Singh briefed the polling personnel on their duties and functions for the by-election to be held on October 17 and other election related matters for smooth polling. EE/DRDA, Thoubal, E. Somorendro Singh who is also the EVM Nodal Officer of the By-Election also spoke on the use of EVM and other related matters, it said.
It was also informed that all polling personnel will disperse for their respective polling stations on October 16 at 8 am from the District Headquarters.
