IMPHAL, October 27: North Eastern Economical Development Society (NEEDS), a registered NGO has created and designed a unique Customer Care Card which can be availed by donating a nominal amount. With the payment of the nominal amount, one can become a lifetime member too.
This was stated by the Regional manager(NEEDS) Sanjeev Ranjan Singh in a press meet at the Manipur Press Club today.
The customer care card is accepted at selected outlets listed in a booklet and also mentioned in the website. Discounts are available for various products which are used in our daily life, he said.
More than 1.5 lakhs people from the North Eastern states have become member of NEEDS he added.
With its Regional office at Guwahati, the “NEEDS’’ mission is to reach every nook and corner of North Eastern region and provide facility to the poorer sections of the people within the shortest period of time, he adds.
The society is in the process of collaborating with renowned medical institutions in India to facilitate discounts for the people of NE region, Rajeev Ranjan said, adding the facility will surely assist economic growth.
