Imphal, November 5: A team led by Chief Secretary PC Lawmkunga has left for Shillong to attend a Northeast Council meeting this morning.
The team from Manipur including Planning principal secretary Barun Mitra and other additional secretaries and projects directors etc are going to take part in the NEC meeting which will discuss various NEC projects implemented in the Northeast region and the National Sports University. Sources said that the meeting will monitor the utilisation certificate reports of the current financial year and programme schedule under NEC. The NEC meeting starts today itself.
