CHANDEL, NOV 23: Chandel Naga People`s Organisation has lauded district Health Mission director Dr N Birchandra Singh and the whole team of district block cluster area for their effort in making the Chandel delivery points functional and also for taking out health awareness programme.
It said such initiatives will help in catering quality health care towards the people of Chandel District.
President of CNPO Ws Kanral Anal told media that setting up of delivery points in few places like Unopat Primary Health Sub Centre, Sajik Tampak Primary Health Sub centre and Purum Tampak Primary Health Sub centres as reported in the local dailies, which is an evident of how the team in the past few days have reached out to remote areas and provided health care services.
He added that this is possible due to the concern of the directorate Health services and National Health Mission Director Dr Okram Ibomcha Singh.
The president went on to thank the director for providing all the equipment to the people through the team.
He expressed hope that the endeavour would continue in spirit an in letter so as to benefit the people of the district.
