IMPHAL, November 3: A 10-days long workshop on Meetei Mayek proficiency for teachers of Manipuri (MIL) and elective Manipuri subjects of classes XI and XII under the Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur was inaugurated today at the council’s office premises at Babupara. The workshop is being conducted by COHSEM in collaboration with Meetei Erol Eyek Loinasillol Apunba Lup, Kangleipak (MEELAL), Mayai Loisang, Imphal and All Manipur Recognised Private Schools’ Welfare Association.
The workshop is the first one of three batches to be conducted.
Each batch has 70 participants and the first phase which was inaugurated today will end on November 12; the second batch will start on November 13 and conclude on November 22 while the last phase will be conducted from November 24 to December 3.
