THOUBAL, November 5: A man who was hit by a Bolero Jeep while going for his morning walk succumbed to his injuries at the RIMS Hospital. The Bolero Jeep bearing the registration number MN0%A-4543 rammed into the pedestrian in front of the Peace and Freedom Academy, Thoubal Haokha at around 5.45 am.
The deceased has been identified as Yumnam Ibobi, 70, of Thoubal Haokha Mamang Leikai. He was going for his morning walk when the Bolero which was en route to Imphal ran over him.
Police have registered a case regarding the incident.
