IMPHAL, December 13: Chief librarian of the State Central Library E Latakishwar Singh has appealed to all concern against calling bandhs or blockade during the 23rd Imphal Book Fair, 2014 which will be held from December 15-24 at THAU ground.
Speaking to media persons at the library today, he said the fair which is being organised by the library in collaboration with the Dr Raja Ram Mohan Roy Library, Kolkata will have altogether 45 stalls.
Book publishers and agents from Imphal, Guwahati, Delhi and Kolkata will be opening stalls in the fair, he said.
The fair, he said is being organised to develop reading habit amongst the public in the State.
