IMPHAL, December 27: The Dhanamanjuri College of Science Teachers`™ Association has said that it condemned the withdrawal of Dhanamanjuri University Bill by the Education Minister (University and Higher Education) from the floor of the House of Assembly Session on December 22.
According to a release of the association, the withdrawal of the Bill will lead to delay in the process of establishing the Dhanamanjuri University. It further stated that the State Cabinet has taken decision on December 16 approving to place the Bill for establishing DM University at Assembly Session, it said.
The association has appealed the Minister (University and Higher Education) to place the University Bill for approval in the coming Assembly Session without fail. It also appealed the State Government for a speedy solution so that the academic atmosphere in colleges will not be deteriorated further, it said.
