IMPHAL, December 12: An unidentified non-local who was found at around 8 am unconscious due to injuries near Allu Gali under City Police Station, Imphal West today has succumbed to his injuries.
The man was reported to be around 55 years of age. Due to his state of unconsciousness, the identity of the person could not be ascertained immediately.
He suffered injuries in the head and was also wounded on the arm. However, the cause of the injuries remains uncertain.
The man succumbed at RIMS casualty at around 4 pm. The dead body has been transferred to RIMS morgue for identification and for post mortem.
