IMPHAL, Dec 12: The Naga People`™s Front (NPF) has expressed displeasure and objection over the intention likely to be included in the report/recommendations of the All Political Party Committee (APPC) formed on August 6 to study and analyse the demand of Joint Committee on Inner Line Permit System in Manipur.

According to a release of NPF, the Front will oppose and object the APPC`™s Report which was submitted to the Chief Minister on December 10 if the report tries to vitiate the Hill areas in Manipur.

The Front has said that APPC should have recommended for proper implementation of ILPS and equal development between the valley and the hills as there is an alarming influx of outsiders into the state.

It also remind to all including the members of the APPC that rights and interest of the tribes which are included in Article 371 C of the Constitution of India should be fully upheld and implemented in letter and spirit.
