IMPHAL, Dec 11: The All India Trade Union Congress, Manipur State Committee has said that Mayor of Agartala Municipal Cooperation, RK Praphulojit Singh and General Secretary of All India Trade Union Congress, Laishram Sotinkumar has announced that the 75th Nupilal will be observed as soon as possible at Tripura during a meeting.
A release of the Union said the General Secretary has announced during the meeting that the preparation has been to observe
Nupilal Thouram at areas populated by Manipuris in Assam, Bangladesh and Myanmar.
It further said floral tributes were also paid to the statue of Hijam Irabot located at Kalani crossing, Sarani, Agartala led by Mayor along with General Secretary of the Trade Union on the morning of December 10.
The programme was also attended by General Secretary of NCP, Y. Iboyaima, 4-D Block General Secretary, Kh, Ganeshwar, Manipuri Sahitya Parishad, Tripura, General Secretary, RK, Jitendra, H. Somorjit, Marketing Manager of National handloom Expo, 2014, L. Ojit and Working Women Forum Manipur, President, Thangjam Bedamani, it said.
