IMPHAL, Dec 13: The Poumai Naga Baptist Association (PNBA) consisting of mission workers, pastors, planning committee, executive council members has expressed displeasure with the NSCN (I-M) for restricting Naga Christian leaders of Manipur including deputy Chief Minister Gaikhangam, ministers and MLAs to have fellowship with Poumai Naga Baptist believers during its pentennial fellowship at Shomai village on December 13.
In a press release, the PNBA stated that the association`™s members and the host villagers were greatly discouraged and expressed resentment against the restriction to have joint worship with the Naga Christian leaders.
Pointing out that such fellowship programmes are allowed in other places and with other Naga associations it further questioned why such restriction was imposed on Poumai alone.
Such injustice and indifferent attitude to a particular community was highly questionable, it concluded.
