PREPAK declares former chairman Nongdrenkhomba as absconder

IMPHAL, December 2: The proscribed People`™s Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak, PREPAK in a statement signed by Leibak Ngakpa Luwang, assistant secretary Publicity and Propaganda has stated that Ningombam Nabachandra alias Naba alias Nongdrenkhomba, who had earlier served as chairman, is no longer related with the group.

According to the statement, Nabachandra son of late N Iboyaima from Thangmeiband Lourungpurel Leikai, and Potsangbam Chinglen alias London son of late P Prithibi from Chingmeirong Laipham Khunou have been declared absconder by the central committee of the party.

It continued that Nabachandra and Chinglen after deserting the party have taken shelter under the State force/IOF. From now on their earlier activities as well as any activities in the future are no longer related with the party. N Romen Meitie will be the new finance secretary in-charge instead of Chinglen, it said.

The statement further said that both Nabachandra and Chinglen are blots to the revolutionary movement of the party, and have shown the party in a poor light because of their anti-revolutionary and anti-party activities. Moreover, their activities have given a false impression of the revolutionary movement to the people, it added.

It also maintained that the two absconders have left the party as they no longer have the capacity and spirit to stand up to the principles of the revolutionary movement. They have become revolutionary betrayer as they do not possess an iota of quality that revolutionaries should have, the statement added.
