IMPHAL, December 13: Regional Institute of Medical Sciences director Dr Ch Arunkumar today lamented the formation of JACs whenever there is a death during treatment blaming the doctors and their subordinates of negligence without trying to find the main reason.

Instead of blindly accusing the doctors for negligence, a better option would be to inquire about the main cause in such cases of deaths and then only make the charges, the director asserted.
