Ukhrul, Dec 22: In a bid to promote various film and drama artists based in Ukhrul district, Tangkhul Music and Film Association (TMFA) is gearing up to hold Miss Tangkhul Contest from February 11 to 14 at the district headquarters.
TMFA sources informed today that Tangkhul Shanao Long (TSL) and Tangkhul Naga Long (TNL) have also approved to coordinate with the association in organizing the event.
Miss Tangkhul will get a cash price Rupees One Lakh along with a Crown worth Rupees 50.000/-. while first and second Runners-up will receive cash prices of Rs 75.000/- plus Crown worth rupees 35,000/- and Rs.50,000/- with rupees 25,000/-worth Grown respectively, disclosed the source.
“There will also be eight Sub-Title winners and each of them will receive rupees 20,000/-,” said TMFA source today while adding that Audition for the event will be held in January next followed by rehearsal with choreographer.
