IMPHAL, Dec 19: A 60 year old woman was run over by a freight truck killing her on the sport early morning today at Waheng Leikai.
The deceased has been identified by Konjengbam Ongbi Mema Devi, 60, wife of K Jugin Singh of Langthabal Mantrikhong Mayai Leikai, a vegetable seller by profession.
Reports said that the incident taken place around 5 am near the traffic Island at Wahengbam Leikai under city police station.
The body has been handed over to the family member after conducting post mortem at RIMS morgue.
