IMPHAL, Dec 11: The Manipur State Council for Child Welfare has said that two young boys from Manipur have been nominated for National Bravery Award.
According to a release of the council, the two boys, Master Gurumayum Tooldev Sharma of Yaiskul Hiruhanba Leikai was awarded for saving a child from drowning and Master Leishangbam Brainson Singh of Keishmathong Hodam Leirak for saving a person from electrocution.
The award will be presented during Republic Day by the Prime Minister.
Both the children will take part in the Republic parade to honour their bravery. The two children were nominated out of three children submitted by the council, it said.
