CHANDEL, Dec 3: World Disable Day under SSA Chandel was observed with a function at the Mini Indoor stadium in Japhou Bazar today.
Additional Deputy Commissioner of Chandel K Luckyson, MCS, CNPO president Ws Kanral Anal and ZEO, DPO SSA Chandel F Lalzuithangi attended as Chief Guest, Guest of honour and Functional president of the function respectively.
Speaking on the occasion, ADC Chandel K Luckyson called for positive attitude of the people and to show love and affection to all physically challenged and disabled people in the society.
He assured that the district administration would try ensuring all forms of social benefits to this group of people. In this connection, the ADC called upon all authorities concerned to extend cooperation.
District Coordinator, Integrated Education for Disable (IED), SSA Lanu Pinky Aimol led the hour of presentation during which children with Special Needs were honoured with a gifts.
