IMPHAL, January 4: The Bharatiya Janata Party, Wabagai Mandal of Thoubal district conducted a mass enrolment drive today at the Wabagai Yangbi Maning Community Hall to make the party more formidable and stronger in the assembly constituency.
A public meeting was also conducted as a part of the mass enrolment drive which was attended by State BJP vice-president I Mangiton, BJYM president O Malesh and BJP, Wabagai Mandal president Md Abdul Latif.
The BJP leaders stated that the function was conducted as a part of its efforts to strengthen the party ahead of the eleventh State assembly elections so that the party can form the next government.
