IMPAL, January 18: The body of a woman recovered from Paheikong river bank in between Hunpung and Simtang 15 km south west from Ukhrulpolice station, on January 14 has been identified.
The deceased has been identified as one Ningthoujam Lalita Devi, 54, daughter of late N Khetra of Khurai Chingangbam Leikai.
Official sources revealed that Lalita was mental deranged person.
A missing report was filed by her family with the Porompat police station on December 26.
Her lifeless body has been handed over to family members after conducting post mortem.
