IMPHAL, January 8: The Democratic Students`™ Alliance of Manipur (DESAM) has said that its 13th Foundation Day was observed at the Centenary Hall of Manipur University on January 13.
According to a release of DESAM, the alliance extended gratitude towards government offices, business establishments, private firms and the public for donating money for the coverage of the programme. It also extended gratitude towards All Manipur Sound Association, Manipur for providing sound and various Transport Societies for providing transportation services for students. DESAM also showed appreciation to staff members of Blood Bank of JNIMS and RIMS for their help during blood donation, it said.
Gratitude is also shown to those who offered help with items. The alliance also expressed thanks to Print and Electronic Media for news coverage of the program and invitees for attending the programme.
DESAM also showed gratitude towards Principal of Standard Robert`™s higher Secondary School, Landhoni for offering financial aid for the `Chingu Maichou Khongnang Thaba Award`™ presented to 4 teachers, it said.
