IMPHAL, January 3: The IT Road Joint Monitoring & Development Committee has expressed its gratitude to Dr Okram Ibomcha, Director of Health Services and Mission Director, NHRM for sending a monitoring team to PHSC, Makui which is in a deplorable condition with no power supply and or equipments essential to health care in the area, a press release said.
Appreciating Dr. O Ibomcha for promptly providing solar lamps as a Christmas gift to facilitate in emergency cases after the monitoring team he sent noticed the lack of facilities in the area submitted its report, the committee expressed optimism that Dr Ibomcha would continue with such noble gestures and attention in the future, it said.
The villagers of the area will pray for his well being and wish him a long service period so as to be able to help many more downtrodden villagers, it further added.
