IMPHAL, January 17: Any enrolment of member without the prior consent of the mandal is not valid, BJP Naoria Pakhanglakpa Mandal president Ngangom Birgopal said during a press meet at the party`™s Nityaipat Chuthek office today.
He said it is unfortunate that a man identified as Pukhrambam Chourajit has planned to organise a BJP Mass enrolment drive at the community hall of Phramakhong Chingya, Naorya Pakhangba AC on January 18.
The mandal has no objection to anyone getting enrolled into the party through online, but if anyone want to be a primary member of the party in the constituency should take genuine forms from the mandal, he said.
He said the BJYM president Oinam Malesh had led in conducting mass enrolment drive and had enrolled more than 2000 members including online members into the party fold.
However, all those enroll through online will be verified in March, he said.
