IMPHAL, January 8: A one day financial literacy camp was organised by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), Guwahati Region today at Longmai (Noney) Bazar COmmunity Hall. The camp was participated by around 300 people residing in Noney area.
During the camp, Assistant General Manager, RBI, MIM Guite, Assistant Manager, RBI, Sonawane, Senior Manager of Manipur Rural Bank Head Office, Yaiskul, Manager of SBI, REgional Office, Deveshwar, apn/WABARD, Kiran Singh, Branch Manager of SBI Noney, Rajeshwar and Branch manager, MRB, Noney branch, Chaosana SIngh were the resource Person and spoke on Bank Productivity, Saving Accounts, current Accounts, Fixed Deposits and Loan, etc.
The AGM of RBI, Guwahati region also distributed 6 footballs to the Noney village authority. He also distributed Self Help Group Resolution Books to the 20 Self Help groups. the Bank Officials also had an interaction session with the Self Help groups.
