IMPHAL, Jan 23: Anti Armed Forces Special Power Act-1958 crusader Irom Chanu Sharmila who was continuing her fast demanding repeal of the dreaded Act at the Shamu Makhong following her release from judicial custody has been `rushed`™ to JNIMS for medical attention by a team of City Police including women personnel, according to sources. Others however said it was a rearrest.
Soon after her release yesterday evening, Sharmila continued with her protest at the Shamu Makhong while personnel of the City Police including women personnel continued to watch over her.
Reliable source informed that she was taken from her protest site by the police team around 9:25 pm after her condition allegedly deteriorated.
