IMPHAL, Jan 4: A man who was walking on the road died was hit by a thunder-bolt. The incident happened during a sudden downpour accompanied by thunder and lightning this evening.
The deceased has been identified as Ch Mangi Singh, 57, of Loitang Khunou in Imphal West.
He was admitted at the RIMS hospital at around 6 pm but the doctors who attended on him declared him to be brought dead.
