IMPHAL, Feb 21: Salam Dineswor, 35, son of Salam Goura Kishore of Iroisemba Mamang Leikai Khongdram Leikai, the police constable who was seriously injured in the February 18 blast at Masjid road is said to be out of danger.
Nevertheless, the police constable is likely to undergo extensive eye surgery to save him from blindness.
It may be noted that at least seven individuals including four police personnel and three civilians were injured when an IED exploded at Masjid. No groups or individual has claimed responsibility for the incident so far.
