IMPHAL, Feb 24: The Editors`™ Guild Manipur continuing with its demands decided to boycott the ensuing Assembly session which will commence from February 25.
In a memorandum submitted to the Speaker, Editors`™ Guild said that it has been forced to boycott the Chief Minister, his Council of Ministers and all ruling MLAs following non redress of a certain demand made to the Chief Minister by the EGM.
`Although the Assembly Secretariat and the Speaker is out of purview of the Boycott, as the upcoming Assembly session will be participated by the functionaries of government who are being boycotted, we feel it obligatory to inform you that affiliate of Editors Guild Manipur will not be able to attend the session or report the proceedings,` the memorandum submitted to the Speaker mentioned.
