IMPHAL, Feb 16: Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister, Francis Ngajokpa today visited and assessed the works undertaken by the Manipur State Rural Road Development Agency (MSRRDA) in Tamenglong district.
The programme was funded by ministry of rural development, Government of India under PMGSY phase-9 at the cost of Rs. 1.79 crore for pucca drainage, RCC culvert, Singling, blacktopping at Nagaching part-I to II under Tamenglong block of Tamenglong district.
The 4.5 km stretch works was started from November 2014 and targeted complete by March 2016.
The Minister also visited and assessed the works under Nungtek railway highest bridge point to Marangching part-III. The cost of the project is estimated at 2.40 crores.
