IMPHAL, Feb 21: With the objective of bringing peace and harmony among the Manipuri people residing in the eight North-eastern states, a tour of all the NE States called `Route NE`™ will be flagged-off on February 22. The tour organised by ISTV Network will conclude on March 3.
This was stated by team leader, Khamba Salam, the president of ISTV network at a press conference today at its office. The team comprises of 10 members and the tour will be flagged-off from the western gate of Kangla at 8.30 am.
During the tour, the team will analyse the changes in tradition, culture followed by the Manipuri people residing in the North Eastern states, he said, adding that the team will document and discuss the pros and cons of the findings which they come across during the tour. The documentation made in the tour will be showcased in ISTV network, he said.
