IMPHAL, Feb 9: The Maoist Communist Party Manipur has greeted Manipur People`™s Army (MPA), armed wing of UNLF, on the occasion of its 28th Anniversary celebration today.
A press statement of the Maoist said it respects the untiring and undeterred courageous soldiers of MPA as well as Military affairs committee of the party and salutes the martyrs who lay down their lives in the struggle.
Maoist believes that UNLF along with its armed wing MPA will continue to shine in the national liberation struggle and also would like to join hands to fight against the colonial rule of India, it said. Considering the present scenario, to continue successfully in the freedom struggle of Manipur, `Revolutionary forces, Patriotic Forces and Progressive Forces should be united while separating reactionary force and progressive forces,` it added.
